The Rivertown Sound

This quartet was formed in 1985 by members of our Chorus, inspired by the great variety of music in their hometown of St. Louis. They are dedicated to preserving good singing and four-part harmony. While they continue to sing traditional songs from the turn-of-the-century, more and more audiences have requested songs from the Fifties. As a result, they have become St. Louis' premiere "Doo Wop Quartet" and are honored to hold that position.

The Jeff Connection

In 2010, chorus director Jim Raspberry decided to create a quartet of chapter members who would like to practice together for an hour before weekly chorus rehearsals. After much hard work, they have created a flexible repertoire of barbershop songs. Their specialty are gospel and sacred songs. They are fortunate to be asked to sing at church services and events all over Jefferson County, which is the origin of the name of their quartet.

Southern Comfort

This quartet has existed in one form or another since the mid 1990s. The name is not associated with liquor. All the members of the quartet are from southern Jefferson County and audiences find their warm harmony to be very comforting. This is what inspired their name. The quartet used to perform often all around Jefferson County but their busy schedules have now limited them to chorus shows only.
